Heat treating furnace & turn-key installation to Japanese diecasting firm in Indianapolis
Ipsen Inc., Cherry Valley, Ill., announces that Castec Inc. of Japan recently purchased a two-bar H2 Titan vacuum heat treating furnace with a graphite hot zone and turn-key installation for its facility in Indianapolis, Ind. This furnace has a work zone size of 18 by 18 by 24 in., and a hearth gross load weight capacity of 2000 lb. Equipped with a mechanical pump and a blower vacuum system, the furnace is configured for 460 V, 60 Hz, 3 phase.
The versatile Titan vacuum furnace, which can be delivered anywhere in the world within ten weeks, operates in any language and meets global standards. It also allows for a variety of standard processes (such as tempering, annealing, hardening, and brazing) and operates 30% more efficiently than comparable models. It’s available in horizontal and vertical models up to 10,000 lb (4,500 kg) capacity. The Titan offers a wide range of sizes, speed, and uniformity, and is equipped with a Vacu-Prof control system to provide enhanced quality, repeatable results, and improved operational safety.
