General Description:
- Responsible for all functions of the Polymet Customer Service Department
Job Summary:
- This is a salary non-exempt position
- Main responsibilities include:
- Responding to customer and prospect inquiries
- Quoting
- Contract review
- Order entry
- Following up on quotations, leads, and lost customers
- Assist with new item number creation and our corrective action process
- Serve as the primary back-up for answering incoming phone calls
- Be willing to assist in other areas as directed by the Sales Manager
- Continually strive to achieve customer satisfaction
- Participate in supporting and achieving company goals
- Follow the requirements of the Polymet Employee Handbook and Safety Policies
- Understand and follow all Polymet Quality Management System documents required by the Job Skill Assessment sheet
Minimum requirements:
- Committed to providing outstanding service to our customers
- Outstanding work ethic
- 1-2 years of experience servicing customers
- Excellent people and phone skills
- High potential based on our standard assessment test
- High school degree or equivalent
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Able to travel 1-2 times per year for 3-5 days
- Agree to sign Polymet’s standard Employee Agreement, which inlcudes NDA and non-compete clauses
