Characteristics and Composition

PMET 912 is a solid cobalt 12 wire. PMET 912 has excellent resistance to many forms of chemical and mechanical degradation over a wide temperature range. PMET 912 attributes are its anti-galling properties, abrasion and corrosion resistance, and oxidation resistance up to its melting range. It can be applied to all weldable steels, including stainless steels.

PMET 913

MSRR9500/15 – Alloy 12 H welding wire for gas turbine engine components.

Characteristics and Composition

PMET 913 is a high carbon cobalt based version of cobalt alloy 12 that has been forged into small diameter wire using Polymet’s patented hot extruded wire process. PMET 913 attributes are its anti-galling properties and increased abrasion resistance while maintaining similar properties to the alloy #12. It can be applied to all weldable steels, including stainless steels.

Characteristics and Composition

PMET 980 (Tribaloy® T-800) is a solid hardfacing wire consisting of cobalt, molybdenum, chromium, and silicon. PMET 980 attains its oxidation, corrosion, and galling resistance from its hard laves phase which is dispersed in a softer solid solution eutectic.
