Diamant’s Dichtol sealers are water-based and are ideal for sealing thermal spray coatings to ensure nothing penetrates the porosity of the coatings, which can cause coating failure. Dichtol has very high capillary action, penetrating deep into the pores and cracks of thermal spray coating, creating an impenetrable barrier. It is applied at atmospheric conditions and no heating or vacuum pressure is required for curing.
